About Us
New Horizon Preschool wants to help your child get excited about learning and become a successful student for years to come!
Our classes are designed with every learning level in mind to challenge your child in the areas they need developed. Our interactive mixed age group fosters responsibility and mentor-ship in older children while younger ages are presented with a desire to learn and grow in a cooperative environment.
Your child will be provided a number of hands-on learning experiences such as planting, harvesting, and science projects related to class themes. Lots of music and movement will enrich transitions and learning times.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a faith-based and academically excellent curriculum for young children. We believe that every child is uniquely created, and we strive to cultivate an environment of fun and playful learning to engage every type of learner.
We work cooperatively with families to help each child establish kindergarten readiness and a firm foundation in their relationship with Christ.
Meet Our Teachers
Miss Taylor
Director and Pre-K Teacher
Hi, my name is Taylor, I am the Lead Teacher and Director here at New Horizons Preschool. My goal here at New Horizon Preschool is to take learning and approach it with a stimulating, engaging, and interactive environment to help support the growth and development of our little learners.
I specialize in early learning education and have worked in a range of childcare facilities throughout the years. I am passionate about teaching and encouraging children in a way to build them up to empower our community.
By incorporating biblical standpoints I’m believing to raise up strong children of the faith who are bold, known, loved, and carry a strong emotional intelligence.
I am excited for this coming school year to pour out on our next generation. Using a hands-on learning environment will encourage confidence not only in the classroom but outside the classroom as well to make a lasting impact on others through their play-filled center.
Miss Colleen
3’s Classs Teacher
Hello, my name is Colleen and I’m one of the teachers at New Horizon Preschool.
I am married to an amazing man and soon-to-be nurse. We have two beautiful daughters, and we have attended New Horizon Church for five years.
I have worked in childcare for several years and this will be my third year working at New Horizon Preschool.
I love helping kids learn new things, cheering them on when something is tough, and watching them grow.
Every year I am excited for the school year to start, and see those smiling faces eager to learn.
Miss Breanna
Pre-K Teacher’s Assistant
Hey! My name is Breanna, and I am Miss Taylor’s assistant teacher at New Horizon Preschool.
I have worked in childcare for about four years now. This will be my first year being an assistant teacher and I am so excited to watch and grow with these amazing kids.
I love being able to work with the kids and watching them learn new things. Being their cheerleader and encouraging them to try new things.
I am so excited for this upcoming school year and connecting with all the amazing kids!
Miss Paola
Lead Teacher’s Assistant
Hello, I’m Paola, a teacher’s assistant at New Horizon Preschool. I take pride in being an Army wife and a mother of three amazing kids.
My passion for working with children began when I visited an orphanage in Mexico and later became a preschool teacher there. I find joy in contributing to a child’s learning and development.
As preschool marks their initial exposure to a classroom environment, my aim is to establish strong foundations while ensuring they learn and have fun.
I am thrilled about the upcoming school year and the new journey at New Horizon Preschool.
